The exclusive meeting, convened by U.S. President Donald Trump, included countries seen as crucial to achieving peace in the region.

“An excellent speech. You did an outstanding job tapping on the table. Truly remarkable. Thank you very much,” Trump said, highlighting Indonesia’s growing diplomatic influence.

Indonesia’s Commitment to Peace

Indonesia to the UN reiterated its dedication to promoting stability in the Middle East. During the meeting, Prabowo expressed readiness to support all initiatives advancing peace, including deploying peacekeeping forces to Gaza.

In his prior UN address, Prabowo emphasized a two-state solution for Palestine while acknowledging the need to respect Israel’s sovereignty.

“The world must have a free Palestine, but we must also recognize, respect, and guarantee the safety and security of Israel. Only then can true peace be achieved,” he said, calling for reconciliation between Arabs, Jews, and followers of all religions.

Global Leaders in Strategic Dialogue

The session included Qatar’s Emir Sheikh Tamim ibn Hamad Al Thani, Jordan’s King Abdullah II, Turkey’s President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Egypt’s Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly, UAE’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud.

Indonesia to the UN played a pivotal role, with Prabowo urging collective action to achieve lasting peace.

“Let us continue the journey of hope for humanity, a journey begun by our ancestors, a journey we must complete together,” he said, inspiring global leaders to collaborate on stabilizing Gaza and broader Middle East peace efforts.
