Resilienceapac – Moynat x Labubu is set to become one of the most talked-about collaborations of the year. The French luxury bag house Moynat has teamed up with Kasing Lung, the Hong Kong artist behind the beloved Labubu character, to launch an exclusive collection of bags and small leather goods. This unexpected partnership merges Moynat’s 176-year tradition of fine craftsmanship with the playful spirit of Lung’s The Monsters universe, creating a rare meeting point between heritage fashion and contemporary pop culture.
The collection highlights Moynat’s signature styles such as the Canvas M bags, including the Moynat Tote in three sizes, the Hobo Mini, the Weekender Mini 48h, and the hard-to-find Mignon bags. Alongside these, smaller accessories passport holders, card holders, and charms will also feature the whimsical illustrations of Labubu, Spooky, King Mon, and the winged Zimono.

Labubu’s journey to luxury fashion has been nothing short of remarkable. Kasing Lung first introduced The Monsters in 2015 through a trilogy of illustrated books inspired by mythology, comics, and Nordic folklore. In 2019, his creations reached new heights when he partnered with Chinese toy giant Pop Mart to release Labubu dolls in the form of “blind boxes.” Customers would only discover which figurine they purchased after opening the packaging a marketing twist that helped drive global hype.
The scarcity of the dolls, combined with high-profile endorsements from K-pop stars, quickly turned Labubu into a cultural phenomenon. Today, people spot the tiny, furry characters dangling from bags across major cities worldwide. Symbolizing both collectibility and pop culture relevance. The Moynat x Labubu collaboration marks the character’s latest evolution. Crossing over from toy culture into the world of luxury leather goods.
Timed to celebrate the tenth anniversary of The Monsters, the Moynat x Labubu collection will officially launch on October 11. To build momentum, Moynat has unveiled a star-studded campaign featuring Academy Award-winning actress Michelle Yeoh. Renowned fashion editor Carine Roitfeld, and Paris Opera Ballet star Guillaume Diop. Each of them is pictured carrying armfuls of the vibrant, playful bags. Blending sophistication with whimsy in a way that perfectly encapsulates the collaboration.
Founded in 1848, Moynat has long been revered for its precision. Hand-stitched leather craftsmanship, originally as a maker of luxury trunks. This collaboration not only underscores the brand’s ability to innovate while honoring its heritage. But also highlights Labubu’s continued cultural impact. The Moynat x Labubu collection will be available exclusively through Moynat boutiques until early 2026. Making it one of the most anticipated limited editions in the luxury market.
