President Trump opened the session by emphasizing the importance of the forum in addressing long-standing conflicts, including efforts to secure hostage releases. He specifically praised Prabowo for his compelling speech at the UN General Assembly the day before.

Indonesia to the UN reiterated its dedication to promoting stability in the Middle East. During the meeting, Prabowo expressed readiness to support all initiatives advancing peace, including deploying peacekeeping forces to Gaza.
In his prior UN address, Prabowo emphasized a two-state solution for Palestine while acknowledging the need to respect Israel’s sovereignty.
“The world must have a free Palestine, but we must also recognize, respect, and guarantee the safety and security of Israel. Only then can true peace be achieved,” he said, calling for reconciliation between Arabs, Jews, and followers of all religions.
The session included Qatar’s Emir Sheikh Tamim ibn Hamad Al Thani, Jordan’s King Abdullah II, Turkey’s President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Egypt’s Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly, UAE’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud.
“Let us continue the journey of hope for humanity, a journey begun by our ancestors, a journey we must complete together,” he said, inspiring global leaders to collaborate on stabilizing Gaza and broader Middle East peace efforts.
The meeting showcased Indonesia’s rising influence on the international stage, signaling a proactive role in diplomacy and conflict resolution, as global powers worked toward tangible agreements for peace.
